Frank Maldonado, 26, was arrested about 5 p.m. Thursday after police responded to his Barker Street apartment on reports of a domestic disturbance, according to authorities.
Maldonado is accused of choking a woman inside the apartment while temporarily refusing to let her leave. He’s been charged with unlawful imprisonment and criminal obstruction of breathing, misdemeanors, according to police.
Later Thursday, Westchester County police responded to two other incidents – one involving an allegedly drunk man found lying in the road and another involving a hit-and-run car crash.
The man was found at the side of the road about 9:30 p.m. near the 600 block of Main Street, according to authorities. Believing that he was drunk, officers took him to an area hospital for evaluation.
Shortly after 10 p.m., police responded to the area of Main Street and Byram Lake Road to find a man who said his car has been rear-ended by a brown SUV which then fled the scene. Authorities investigating the incident believe the brown SUV may have been a Chevrolet Traverse.
On Wednesday morning, police arrested Johan Alberto-Pena, 32, who was wanted on a warrant charging him with disorderly conduct, according to police. Alberto-Pena was taken into custody by a patrol officer who recognized him and knew that he had previously failed to appear in court to answer to the violation charge, according to police.
On Tuesday, Jan. 10, a Mount Kisco man entered the county police precinct on Green Street to report that a woman had taken his paycheck and cashed it at a local bank. Authorities continued to investigate that case as well and had reported no arrests by Sunday.
